CPP Needs Volunteers!
Central Park Players cannot run on donations alone. We need your help! As a volunteer organization, it is crucial that we have people willing to lend a hand in any way possible. CPP seeks to find people who are open-minded, creative, caring and talented. You do not need to have any special skill to be a volunteer! We have people ready to train and help where needed. The most important aspect is that you are willing to share your time with people in this community who care. If you have any interest in volunteering or might know someone who does, please contact Mandy Keeler at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteering options include (but are not limited to: lights, sound, makeup, hair, set design, set building, box-office, house, etc.) Don't wait for someone else to make a difference, we need YOU!
The Search for a Historian
Do you like history? Do you like to scrap-book? Is cutting and pasting a hobby of yours? If so, please contact CPP if you would like to be considered to be the new Historian! Over the decades, CPP has maintained numerous books containing memories of each show performed. Articles, photos, press releases, programs and other pieces of memorabilia have been compiled to create memory books for anyone in the organization to share and appreciate. This volunteer opportunity takes little time to add to lasting memories. To learn more about the historian's duties, please contact Mandy Keeler at email@example.com.
Show Times to Change this FALL!
For many years, CPP has opened its doors to patrons to attend evening shows beginning at 8:00 PM. We realize that for many, this show time is a little late, especially when driving long distances, managing week-day schedules, children, poor weather, etc. Therefore, CPP has decided that starting this FALL of 2012, CPP will begin performances at 7:30 PM show times instead of 8:00 PM! This should eliminate many obstacles had with the later show time. Please note that the new show times DO NOT begin until this Fall 2012 and the current show still falls under the 8:00 PM show start time. We will send an update to remind you when the new show time goes into effect.
Membership is Available!
Yes, your membership dollars help to keep our seasons going, but we like to think we can give a little extra something in return! You can enjoy the privileges if you purchase a single or family membership for the 2011-2012 season. Consider a Contribution - The Time is Now!
Theater and the arts make a huge difference in the quality of life within our community and add to the economic health as well. As a volunteer organization, Central Park Players depends almost exclusively on the generosity of our patrons and donors. Like many organizations during this touch economic time, CPP is struggling to make ends meet. We are asking you to help us revive our community theater organization with a financial contribution. We cannot do this alone! Please help us to continue our presence in this community so that we may benefit all those who have been and will be touched by Central Park Players and the commitment we have to the arts, our patrons, volunteers and community as a whole. Thank you.
