by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty based on the books of Dr. Seuss

Open this Friday November 25 and runs through November-27, and December 2-3, 2011 at Lakeshore Middle School, Grand Haven.

FAMILY 4-PACK TICKET SPECIAL!!!

The box office walk up hours are on show days from 2pm-8pm, except on Sunday the 27th when it is 1 pm - 2 pm.

This song, dance, and storytelling extravaganza mirrors the popular Seuss book, Horton Hears a Who!, centering on Horton (Chris Chalupa) the elephant's endeavors to protect the people of Who-ville, who live on a tiny speck of dust.

The Cat in the Hat (Egan Porter) tells the story of Horton and Jojo (Gabby Rabon), a Who child sent off to a butter battling military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton's attention to the speck of dust and his "loitering" care of Mayzie LaBird's (Lorelle Pepple) egg has elicited taunting and accusations from the rest of the animal kingdom, except for Gertrude McFuzz (Shaylynn Chalupa), who longs for his attention, and JoJo, whose "thinks" save them all in the end.

Seussical features characters and scenarios from many Seuss books, including the Yertle the Turtle, The Sour Kangaroo, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Cat in the Hat (who acts as "your host and emcee") and more.

FLOWERS AVAILABLE IN THE LOBBY
CPP will be selling single stem and bundles of 3
carnations, tied with a ribbon and a card before each show.

Give your favorite actor/actress a flower after the show!  (Who knows, there may even be a dust speck with a whole world on it!)

I THINK you should bring your family to see the whole cast and the extraordinarily beautiful world of who-ville this weekend!

*4-Pack special eligible on new ticket purchases only, please.

The Effect of Gamma Rays on
Man in the Moon Marigolds

Directed by Trudi Kerkstra

Dec. 5&6 at 7:00 pm at Lakeshore Middle School in Grand Haven.

Winner of a Pulitzer Prize and an OBIE Award, this is the story of the destructive relationship between a mother and her two high school-aged daughters.

The play focuses on the mother's unhappiness and effect this has on her relationships with her two children, and her ability to play her children against one another. The mother's lies and deceit help her to convince her children of a past that she claims to have lived.

Auditions consist of cold readings from the script.
