FAMILY THEATRE AUDITIONS START TOMORROW!

Wednesday, June 1 from 6-9 pm (Children Only)

Friday, June 3 from 6-9 pm (Children Only)

Sunday, June 5 from 3-4 pm (Adults Only)

Sunday, June 5 from 4-5 pm CALLBACKS FOR ALL

Please plan to attend auditions for the entire time listed, no drop-ins.  All auditions take place in the Lakeshore Middle School Auditorium. Be dressed to move and wear sneakers or dance shoes.  No flip flops or bare feet allowed!

Have a musical theatre song ready to sing, bring a back up CD or be prepared to sing a Capella. (Otherwise Happy Birthday is always good).  We will also be doing cold readings from the script.

Auditions are closed (parents may not observe.)  We will gather the children and their parents in the auditorium at 6 pm for pre-audition information, and then parents can pick their children up at 9 pm or wait in the LMS lobby.

Please bring your calendar of evening conflicts to put on your audition form.  Check out our website for performance dates and a cast of characters.


CPP and Kaiser-Karl Schule Itzehoe Presents:
A Midsummer Night's Dream

Central Park Players, in cooperation with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, is pleased to host the Kaiser-Karl School theatre troupe from Itzehoe, Germany in a special presentation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare.  The play will be performed in English.

Please mark your calendars for Tuesday evening, June 28 at 7 PM to attend this special presentation.

Tickets will be general admission and available at the door up to two hours prior to show time.  The show will be performed at Lakeshore Middle School, 900 S. Cutler, Grand haven, MI.  The box office number is 616-850-6566.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.

Bus Stop - William Inge's two act romantic comedy about a pair of young lovers and their struggle to find love in the modern world. (late Sept. early Oct.)

Winter 2011
Seussical the Musical - The children and family oriented musical based on assorted stories from Dr. Seuss! - ( late Nov. early Dec )
 
Winter 2012
The Effect of Gamma Rays On Man in the Moon Marigolds - Paul Zindel' s Pulitzer Prize winning drama about a dysfunctional family and how they cope with their difficult status in life. (late Feb.)
 
Spring 2012
The Affections of May - Norm Foster's romantic comedy involving a suddenly single wife who must cope with her new bed and breakfast business as well as the town's newly interested bachelors.( Late April, early May)
